So as I lay in the dark about to sleep and posted a pic to Instagram, one of my favorite Melbourne based Italy bloggers (Italy on My Mind) comments and says, “Congrats on your Italy Magazine blog nomination”.
It was the first I’d heard of it. My heart beat a little faster and I went straight to the mag’s website to see if it was true!
Well it is! And I couldn’t be happier.
HeartRome is in great company with 9 other blogs and in the running for their Best 2014 Travel Blog.
Italy Magazine is a UK produced lifestyle magazine all about Italy – food, fashion, art, culture, travel and more.
The awards are held annually and in 2013 the lovely Italy on my Mind won in the Best Food Blog category – I’m confident that her breaking the news to me is going to bring me luck!
