This is Food, a two day food event, hits Rome this weekend. I was unable to attend last year but intend on being there this time around!
Held at Officine Farneto in the Foro Italico / Stadio Olimpico zone (about 20 minutes drive north of the historical centre), the event will feature food stands from some of the city’s premier dining establishments, street food artists, gastronomy workshops and kids activities.
Think Romeo Chef & Baker (by the award winning chef Christina Bowerman and renowned Rome bakers, the Roscioli brothers); Arcangelo Dandini’s new fried food delights shop, Supplizio; bagel bar, Hausgarten; Pastificio San Lorenzo and whole lot more.

Entry is €5 and can be bought on arrival (kids under 12 free).
Coupons can be bought and tasting plates cost €3, €5 or €7.
